ABOUT WQSV HISTORY

WQSV first aired on December 17, 1991.  Corky Albright  is the owner of Sycamore Valley Broadcasting, Inc.  Corky has 30 years of broadcasting experience in Middle Tennessee and Kentucky. Corky was born and raised in nearby Clarksville.  He worked for WJZM in Clarksville and managed WABD Ft. Campbell.

WQSV is a member of the Tennessee Association of Broadcasters, Tennessee Radio Network, American Broadcasting Radio Network, along with several other professional organizations.

Proudly, WQSV has been honored with many awards in their 14 years of service to our community.  They have been voted "Small Business of the Year"  by the Chamber of Commerce for 3 years, they have been awarded special "Public Service Awards" for  work with Shriner's Hospital, Special Volunteer Award from Cheatham County,  Cheatham County Commission awarded them a "Public Service Award", and the VFW awarded them the "American Legion Award".
